Tanya is an Urban Transport specialist whose knowledge and experience are matched by her deep understanding of the diverse and complex needs of communities and people. Her passion for equity and inclusion has manifested in transformational outcomes for the Urban Transport sector.

While leading the Cross River Rail RIS team in Brisbane, Tanya championed a co-design process that resulted in the design for equitable access and inclusive movement and communications across the rail network and the publication of a toolkit for inclusive transport.

In 2022, the Australian Institute of Architects recognised Tanya’s contributions to architecture and the community when she was awarded the prestigious Queensland Emerging Architect Prize.
