The built environment is a serious contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. We want to develop new social, technological and policy tools to help change that fact.
IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL
Hassell was a partner in the Co-operative Research Centre (CRC) for Low Carbon Living: a $100 million, seven-year, multi-national research collaboration between industry, government and research organisations looking for solutions to long-term challenges facing big cities.
PLAYING OUR PART IN THE SOLUTIONS
We have been involved in several significant programs, including partnerships to explore modular construction, understand urban microclimates and develop strategies to cool our cities.
