Xun Huang
“China has experienced rapid urbanisation and construction in the past 20-30 years, and is now confronted with complex situations requiring urban renewal. We need sustainable design solutions that are more environmentally-friendly, with high-quality and adaptability.”
With over 20 years’ of experience working in Europe and China, Xun brings a wealth of knowledge to our teams. An architect with a Master of Architecture from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, Xun is passionate about implementing sustainable design principles that respond to context and local culture.
While at KCAP Rotterdam, Xun worked on a wide range of national and international projects, from architecture design to urban planning. Since 2017, she’s been working in Shanghai on MLA+B.V / MUDI joint ventures where she has led architectural and urban design projects for high-rise office buildings, office parks, schools, new city core, and community centres. She has been responsible for leading the design quality of projects and connecting her design team to new business opportunities throughout China. Xun has also inspired students with her teaching at China Academy of Art.
