Scott Davies
“Working across scales to enhance our environmental systems creates more sustainable patterns of use and development, meaning that we always add to — rather than take from — this place we call home.”
Scott is a respected urban designer, creating healthier, more resilient and connected communities across projects of every scale — from broad regional strategies to community-led revitalisation.
A passionate advocate for sustainable design that responds to and connects with Country, Scott is driven by a desire to create a better global future with tangible local outcomes.
During his 15 years with Hassell, Scott has worked on significant city-shaping projects across Australia. He most recently led the design and coordination of the Aerotropolis precinct plans with the Western Sydney Planning Partnership, where design with Country is the primary driver.
With degrees in urban design and town planning, he has a particular skill in working with community and translating aspirations into a design agenda. This balancing of priorities informs the creation of resilient future places.
Scott leads our Environment and Communities sector, is based in our Sydney studio, and was previously based in Perth.
