Three Hassell workplaces up for Best of the Decade

The 2020 INDE.Awards have announced the workplaces in the running for Best of the Decade, with ANZ Centre, Medibank Place, and The Great Room at One George Street making the shortlist.

Public voting has also opened to crown the 2020 INDE Awards People’s Choice winner from the projects shortlisted.

Inspired by the riverside setting and the maritime character intrinsic to Melbourne’s Docklands, ANZ Centre was completed in 2010 with Lendlease Design and maximises natural daylight and workplace integration.

Medibank Place, also located in Melbourne’s Docklands, opened in 2014 and goes beyond conventional Activity Based Working to create Health Based Working, putting the mental and physical health of people at its heart. 

The Great Room at One George Street was proof that co-working had reached a new level of maturity, and One George Street was an office made to measure and set the standard for all co-working spaces to follow.

INDE describes the winner of Best of the Decade Work Space as a project that ​“honours a watershed moment in workspace design – a project and place that has redefined the very meaning of how and where we work.”
