Sixty Martin Place picks up three awards at CTBUH 2020

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) 2020 Awards have announced Sixty Martin Place, Sydney, a winner across three separate categories.

The Hassell-designed, Investa Property Group and Gwynvill Group developed commercial tower received Awards of Excellence for Best Tall Building 100-199 meters’, Interior Space, and Façade Engineering’. The 33-level tower has only recently opened in Sydney’s CBD, with its distinct feature being the building’s north face extending out eight metres above the 1930s-era stone heritage church next door.

Hassell Principal Tony Grist said that the three award-wins are a testament to the design team’s ability to create something unique, that is commercially successful, whilst contributing to the rejuvenation of Martin Place precinct.
