‘Game changing’ Metro North West award win
Considered a ‘game changer’ by the jury, Metro North West has picked up another significant Urban Design award.
The 2020 National Architecture Awards has announced Sydney’s Metro North West, designed by Hassell in collaboration with Turpin Crawford Studio and McGregor Westlake Architecture, has won the Walter Burley Griffin Award for Urban Design.
On announcing the award win the jury cited: “By consciously crafting enduring spaces for people to enjoy in each and every community along the corridor, it creates an array of settings for public life for years to come.”
