AIDA announce seven Hassell projects up for awards
Six Hassell projects have been shortlisted in the 2020 Australian Interior Design Awards (AIDA), across four separate categories.
Melbourne restaurant institution, Di Stasio Citta, has made the Hospitality category, while Transurban has been shortlisted in Workplace. PAUSE for Melbourne Design Week is in the running for an Installation award, while Geelong Arts Centre, Life Sciences Building, and Angel Place Lobby are shortlisted in the Public Design category. The Living Edge Perth Showroom, designed by Hassell, Living Edge, and Taylor Robinson Chaney Broderick, is also up for an award in Retail.
Rob Backhouse said that the number of shortlistings is a testament to the quality of work being achieved across a range of typologies.

Winners will be announced May 29 in an online celebration, along with recipients of other awards including the Sustainability Advancement Award, Award for Interior Design Impact, and the Premier Award for Australian Interior Design.
