The workplace
Sweeping spiral staircases, lush gardens and inviting social spaces bind Suncorp’s workforce, supporting moments of a chance encounter and dynamic connection.
Dispersed over 18 levels, central circular meeting rooms flanking kitchen hubs offer flexible work options. Recognising the growing trend towards hybrid working is here to stay, these settings bring collaboration and togetherness to the heart of the workplace.
State-of-the-art meeting and training rooms seamlessly integrate Suncorp-developed technology that enables virtual and in-person interactions. Wellbeing focused interiors include two wellness rooms (for yoga and exercise), two multi-faith prayer rooms, and two parents’ rooms. Meanwhile, extensive amenities and event spaces, cafes and outdoor terraces, remind employees that it’s worth returning to the office.
“The design of Suncorp’s Brisbane headquarters is revolutionising the way we work at Suncorp, creating the best possible environment for our teams to collaborate and work flexibly.”
— Colin Harris, Suncorp Executive General Manager Real Estate, Procurement and Operations
Nature in focus
Brisbane’s subtropical sunshine and verdant landscape are vital elements used to promote employee well-being. More than 4,000 plants combine to create garden-centred work hubs and nature-focused views, relieving visual strain and promoting a calming environment.
An earthly palette of natural, sustainably sourced materials, including cork, stone and blackbutt timber, brings an inviting warmth and sense of home to the interior.
Brisbane’s top workplace
Suncorp Group’s Brisbane-based headquarters in Heritage Lanes has also been named Brisbane’s top workplace by Leesman, global workplace experience analysts, achieving their prestigious Leesman+ certification. Heritage Lanes has achieved a score of 81.2 which gives it the highest score of any eligible workplace in Brisbane.
The Leesman Index is the largest employee experience database in the world. For each working environment surveyed, Leesman calculates an LMI score — a 0-100 rating — which can be used to benchmark an organisation’s performance against thousands of organisations across the world.
The Leesman+ certification is awarded to top-tier workplaces who achieve an independent LMI score of 70 or above on a scale of 0 – 100.
