Shanghai’s Golden Ribbon Bridge provides a captivating destination along the Huangpu River, offering citizens a serene spot to pause and appreciate spectacular views. Its curvilinear geometry echoes the landscape with a series of winding terraces featuring mini amphitheatres and places to sit and relax.

Shanghai’s Qingpu Shangda River Park renaissance includes transforming a disused power station into a dynamic ‘Powerhouse’ of ideas, events and activities. Market halls and flexible business spaces find refuge within the existing industrial structures while a floating workspace above the treetops links to the river’s opposing banks via a dramatic ‘escalator bridge’.

Sohar Smart City in Oman integrates movement and connectivity, public realm and open space, and built form, creating a layered framework. Our design guidelines shape the city’s structure, connecting and blending it with the landscape. The resulting urban blocks resemble a sculpted ‘urban clay’ carved by the city’s surrounding terrain.
