Xinxiang Cultural Tourism Center’s ‘Ice cubes’ are the architectural landmark of the new tourist district, which will be dedicated to winter sports, including a future indoor ski slope. Hassell’s Shanghai studio delivered the landscape design for this city-shaping project. There is continuity between the building and “the lake, on which the building floats and whose matter seems to have been transformed into a solid state.
