Karen Tham简介

“城市规划和公共区域不仅对于塑造城市特色十分重要,也让城市变得更加宜居怡人,造福城市居民和外来游客。城市中心区为设计师和建筑设计师提供了如此多的潜力,我们需要的只是释放这种潜力,”Karen谈到。

Karen将加入HASSELL新加坡事务所,在此之前,她已在新加坡艾奕康(AECOM)工作十年,离职之前担任该公司总体规划设计区域总监。

Karen在建筑设计和规划设计领域已有超过25年的工作经验,工作足迹遍及美国、香港和新加坡,参与过多种多样、涉及建筑设计、城市规划和公共领域的众多项目。

Karen的职业生涯始于美国,在此期间她参与了诸多获奖项目,其中包括旧金山内河码头中心影院和弗里蒙特欧文顿社区中心。之后她前往香港任职于HOK International和易道(EDAW)香港事务所。2007年,她在新加坡为易道/艾奕康建立了其第一个东南亚地区办公室并担任运营总监。

Karen近期参与的总体规划和设计项目涉及东南亚、中东、香港、新加坡等多个国家和地区,项目包括新加坡裕廊创新区总体规划、获奖的新加坡体育城项目、马来西亚丹绒布蒂里滨水开发项目、巴厘岛海龟岛度假区总体规划、香港西九龙总站和巴林Dilmunia健康岛。

Karen是美国规划协会和美国建筑师协会的会员,还曾担任新加坡规划师协会的副主席。她也是绿色标志认证管理师(新加坡)和美国绿色建筑委员会(USGBC)LEED认证专业人员。

“我推崇具有可持续性的设计方案,我也参与过达到新加坡绿色标志认证标准和美国绿色建筑委员会LEED认证标准的项目。我期待与HASSELL国际设计团队共同在当前以及未来的项目中继续推动可持续性设计,”Karen表示。
