澳大利亚景观建筑师协会表彰HASSELL的展望与可持续发展系统
LESS系统(本地展望与可持续发展评分系统)由HASSELL开发,近日获颁2012年澳大利亚景观建筑师协会国家景观设计奖,以表彰该系统在研究与交流方面的卓越表现。
LESS系统为一套设计决策框架,旨在生成可持续发展设计方案以减少排放、资源使用以及社会分化。该系统可针对以下四个方面为城市可持续发展进行综合描绘、测量与监督:社会、基础设施、政府监管与环境。该系统可实现对建筑环境和社会的一种三重底线评估,并对政策与规划中的问题作出诊断,发现优势、缺陷与成功之处。
HASSELL空间技术领导Arvind Varshney从2008年中期开始推动LESS研究与开发计划。该系统已应用于多个项目,用于从已有数据中提出重要信息,其范围涵盖可持续发展新指标和指导战略决策的各项指数,还有现状片区的可持续发展综合分析及其翻新设计方案。
LESS对于景观设计师、城市规划师和设计师甚至各层次的政府监管来说,都是一项宝贵的决策工具。该系统计划内容将于2012年12月公开发布。
